Hope this is much more clear...
Driving down the path of life,
on a newly paved road.
The speed never changes here,
and the trees are from an old cartoon.
To live a perfect life,
we sacrifice adventure.
Since nothing ever changes,
I feel okay to look away.
And when I look, I see, and stare,
I can only focus upon,
the intimidating eyes that are
always watching me.
There is only the empty nothingness
that surrounds the single drop of color
that is stained with a perfect
circle of blackened oil.
It is all perfectly painted upon the
steady orb that rests inside an empty cave.
Far away, and yet impossibly close by,
in the very first neighboring hollow,
its brother, its twin, everything the same,
is casually sitting alone
and completely unaware of its replica’s existence.
Suddenly I blink,
and no longer are there only eyes,
but an absolute and beautiful face.
For the first time I see
how we have been protected.
We believe that we are safe,
and that we can never be hurt.
But the world is yellow, cowardice,
as it holds back its worst from
the humans that walk upon it.
The world is red, it’s all I can see.
The blood shed by heroes,
The blood shed by dreamers,
The blood shed by me.
And when I open my eyes again,
A split second has gone,
A short simple second that held a whole eternity.
When I look again, I see
The same exact eyes, but somehow
They have changed.
I see the beauty that surrounds
The masterpiece that is
The frozen tears of an angel,
Circling a darkened soul,
Crafted upon the living globe that sits,
Embraced by a perfectly curved bed.
It cannot see its mirror image,
but it communicates.
As two eyes become one,
Everything is clear.
A lesson learned,
A life reinvented.
Okay ... this is reallllly exaggerated... i know lol
it's about when I wasn't paying attention when I was driving my snowmobile and I ran into a tree and got thirteen stitches above my right eye. :)
It wasn't really life changing but after that me and my bros had to go to snowmobile safety classes and we got yelled at for not wearing helmets (i wasn't wearing a helmet in my crash lol) and then it just made it that much more ironic when my dad got in a snowmobile accident ..... but s'all good :)

The Accident
I stare,
I see, only focused upon,
The nothingness that surrounds
the island of an ocean
splashed with oil upon
the orb that rests in the cave.
It’s brother, it’s twin, everything the same,
casually stationed in the neighboring hollow,
And yet completely unaware of the other one’s existence.
I blink, and no longer is there something,
But absolutely everything.
The world is yellow,
It is cowardice,
Holding back it’s hell from the mortals that walk upon it.
The world is red,
The blood shed by heroes,
The blood shed by dreamers,
The blood shed by me.
And when my eyes open again,
A split second gone,
A second that held a million pounds,
I stare, I see,
The beauty that surrounds
The masterpiece that is
The frozen tears of an angel,
Enclosing a darkened soul,
Upon the globe that sits, embraced by its surroundings,
Connecting with it’s mirror image.
hmmm.... this made perfect sense when I wrote it and knew exactly what my point was but it's probably confusing... and very exaggerated compared to what really happened (i wasn't paying attention on a snowmobile and ran into a tree and got thirteen stitches.... yeah... lol)
it's supposed to sound like i'm staring life in the eyes but then i blink and it compares how the eyes seem before and after... i need to clean it up a little...
okay i'm rambling! comment! critique! judge! help! lol :)
